Q: Can you tell me what takes place during your planned Adams Ave Crossing event this Dec. 1? Thanks!

A: Lots of conversation: People who are part of what we’re doing will be sharing. And we’d also like to learn how others are being led regarding Jesus’ call to service and lives of compassion.

Every 15 minutes or so there will be monologues of about 5 minutes each. And there will be some food, both complimentary and off the menu.

But mainly it’s conversation, as well as art and music. We have an artist working on telling our story in a few paintings, and she’ll also paint one live that night. In addition, one of our people has written a couple songs based on our story.

We want to raise awareness for our cause

  1. so others feel encouraged to live like Jesus wherever they are;
  2. so those who can not participate in the city can be informed as to one mission with which to partner financially;
  3. because some people might want to join our missions work or feel inspired to live this way wherever they are.

Thanks for your interest.
